Caydi's birthday is this Thursday. She's nearly 3! Ack! She can't be three. In my eyes, she's still a year old. A very intelligent and mostly-potty-trained 1 year old. Time flies wayy too fast when you're a mother.
We got Caydi's presents yesterday. I'm excited for her to open them at her party this Saturday! We got her a really cute doll, a doll pram/stroller, a pink Ikea lamp, a couple packs of pink/green sheets for her big girl bed, a Tinkerbell veterinary set, some doll accessories, a movie, a little treasure-chest thingy with some cute dress-ups, and a new leotard/skirt for ballet. Woo hoo! Makes up for all the crappy birthdays I had as a kid, lol.
Bah, I had so much to blog about, but Adam put in a movie with Mel Gibson and I'm finding it hard to concentrate. ;) I'll be back later!

Yawn
It's almost 3 am and I am tiiired. I think I'll head to bed. We have church in the morning and I'm excited to meet the ward. It's actually the same ward I was in when I was 12-14, but I'm pretty sure a lot of the people have moved away, boundaries have been changed, etc etc.. We'll at least have one friend there, though! We met a guy last week who was walking his dog past our house as we were trying to carry in a 75-gallon aquarium (thanks Ben & Lauren!), and he offered to help lug it in. He was really cool, and he's the umm.. president of something.. Elder's Quorum? I forget. He's about our age too. Gave us his number and told us to call if we need help carrying anything else inside, haha.
Speaking of 75-gallon tanks.. we got a baby turtle :) and she is so cute! And very fun to watch. She's a red-eared slider and she loves her new gigantic home. We built her a few underwater rock towers, and a basking platform. I'll have to upload a pic soon. The kids love her!
I'm going on a diet. For the trillionth time. See a pattern here? I diet, lose 5 pounds, then go out to dinner to celebrate and I gain 10 lbs. Lather rinse repeat. I think I started dieting at this exact time last year (I even blogged about it) and I lost a few pounds but then I lost my momentum. It's so depressing to know that I weigh even more than I did a year ago. Back then, I totally assumed I'd be super svelte and tiny by now. WRONG-O! Haha. Anywho, I bought the 30-day-shred from Jillian Michaels (the trainer on the Biggest Loser) and some weights. I've heard really good things about it. I love T-Taps too, but I lost the second copy that my sister has made for me. Maybe third time's a charm! Andrea, what say ye? LOL. I've also joined the family fitness center nearby, and I plan on going there at least 3x's a week. Who's with me?! :P I am hesitant to post my weight on a public website but it's no secret to anyone who knows me that I'm a fatty (unless they're blind), so.. blah.. I weigh 182. *hangs head in shame* Yes, yes, it's true! My goal for next Saturday is 175. After that I'll aim for 2 pounds a week. Wish me luck! Again! I'd love to be 150 by Valentine's Day. I don't think my poor husband has ever seen me at 150. A true pity. I was hot at that weight!
Goodnight!
P.S. I added some highlights to my hair. LOVES IT!
P.S.2. I bought a few pairs of too-small, way-cute jeans. They don't button. Not even close. Let's see how long it takes me to fit into them! TAKING BETS NOW! I'll say.. 3 weeks.

I need your help!!
Can you guys take 5 seconds to vote for Caydi's halloween pic on this website? http://livinglovephotos.blogspot.com She is number 7, the Golden Angel Girl.
If she wins, we get a free Christmas photoshoot! I need this! I have never done Christmas cards and I fully plan to, this year. I'll send one to everyone who votes and leaves me a comment on here ;)

Halloween Portrait!
My friends Holly and Dominic invited us to their Halloween Portrait Party today, courtesy of Dom's dad (Anthony). He's a photographer and recently opened up his own studio. We dressed up the kids and headed over, and they had a blast playing Halloween games and eating candy.. and best of all, they got their pictures professionally done for free!! And can you believe we caught Liam's FIRST long-distance steps on camera?! He has taken 2-3 steps here and there, but today he was standing by himself in the studio bay getting his pic taken, and he took like 20 steps, laughing the whole time. Anthony was snapping pics left and right! We're definitely ordering a few of those. I'll probably post a ton of pics next weekend, which is when we go to pick up the ones we ordered.

Ouch
I have a headache. I never get headaches. This bites!
I got my new invisalign today, along with a cleaning. The hygienist was so rough! She was flossing my teeth with incredible force; I thought she was going to saw right through my gums. I almost told her that she didn't need to floss my teeth at all, since I do it myself about 200 times a day. Gah. I'm excited about the new tray though! I'm a week behind, since Brandon accidentally threw my next tray out and I had to reorder it.. and now I have to wear the next couple of sets for 3 weeks instead of 2, since my teeth have been in this old tray for a week too long. LAME. So after these next couple sets I'll be a total of 3 weeks behind schedule! I hate that. Oh well, better to finish late than to finish never. ;)
The girls and I are sewing some pretty awesome fabric flowers for their hair.. soo cute! I'm going to give a bunch to various friends of mine, since 4 of my close friends are pregnant with girls (must be something in the water). I'm feeling extra crafty today. I'm making some sweet wall decorations too, or at least I hope to.. I have to find my glue gun first! It's still packed away in one of these boxes sitting around. Maybe I should invite a bunch of people to an Unpacking Party. Haha!
We bought an annual pass to the Aquarium, so we're taking the kidlets there tomorrow. It's awesome! They have an entire new exhibit with animals from the Amazon. Alligators, piranhas (with their teeth removed, wth? not as fun now), 3-foot pacus (which we used to have in our home aquarium), etc! I'm excited about this. I love water-dwellers, lol. We're putting a big fish tank in our wall next weekend.. I just can't decide if I want to do fresh or salt water. Most likely fresh because it's cheaper, but the fish options are a bit uglier. Oh well. Maybe I can get another meter-long fish. Hah!
I need a new layout. Anyone have cool layout links? I use my laptop now, so I don't have all of my old bookmarks from my desktop.
Brandon's coming home in a few hours, I hope. He's been doing a great job at his work lately! They promoted his co-worker to supervisor and didn't hire anyone to take that guy's old spot, so now instead of 3 people picking the orders in the freezer, it's just Brandon and one other guy..and since he gets paid by the case, it means Brandon's paychecks are 50% bigger. I am very happy about this! Sadly, I have come to realize that this means we would have had no problem staying in Eagle Mountain, but at the time of our relocation, I didn't know he was going to be making more. But alas, everything happens for a reason, right? It was meant to be, so I could save up for a tummy tuck. Jk.. maybe ;)

Boring-sauce.
Two posts in two days! Now I am approaching overkill! LOL.
I'm sitting in class right now, being bored out of my skull. I have this great idea- I can blog while I'm in class, listening to my uber-boring teacher ramble on about code/payment tracking logs and bundle codes for insurance billing and.. well.. I don't know what else, because I'm not listening. I'm going out of my mind. Anywho, this is win-win, because I'll be guaranteed at least 2 posts a week. Sometimes 4! AND I'll be able to ignore my teachers while keeping up good-student appearances from behind my laptop. ("Oh sorry, I didn't hear you, I was researching Coding Guidelines on the ICD-9 website")
You guys, I really want to get a great dane. Thoughts? Advice? I know, I know.. I change dogs like I change my underwear, lmao. BUT, not exactly, because I usually go through dogs when I'm buying/selling them purposely to make money. When I set out to get our family a dog, my intents are to KEEP it. Unless something crazy comes up. Like when we moved to Colorado and couldn't bring a massive dog with us. I still have Roxie, and I forever will keep her. Brandon has been wanting a dane ever since we had to sell Lina.. you can thank our dictatorish old landlord for that one. Wench. Lol.
Ooh, break time! I'll post later!

I know, I know..
I need a slap in the face! I can't believe I haven't posted for 5 months. Or has it been 6? Meh, I don't know. It's pretty pathetic though. I apologize to the 2 or 3 people who read my blog. LOL.
So much has happened since my last post! I'm now a college girl. I'm getting my medical associates, and then going into nursing, and from there I will either be a midwife or a nurse anesthetist. Either way, Brandon will be able to quit his job and we can bask in the sunlit lap of luxury. Ha ha! So far, I've completed a handful (or hand-and-a-half-ful) of classes and I have a 4.0 gpa, but I'm wondering how much longer that will last. I'm doing Insurance Specialist class right now and it's a little difficult! I think the professor paired the wrong workbook with the textbook. I'm trying to do 4 chapters of homework right now and a large portion of it has me stumped. I am not ok with being stumped! *Angry face*
The girls are in ballet and tumbling classes. There is no dance outfit sold that can fit Caydi's tiny frame, so she uses whatever I can find that is easy to maneuver in. Chloe has a cute little ballerina leotard and skirt, and she loooves dancing, and tumbling! I believe Caydi has the perfect ballerina body (hard to tell at the age of 2-3, I know, lmao.. I don't see her getting big ever, though) and Chloe is perfect for tumbling. That girl can do the splits like nobody's business, and she's working on the backwards somersault now. (Something I could not achieve until the age of 16, and then I got pregnant the next year, so.. I was only able to do backwards somersaults for one year of my life. Oh how I missed out! Chloe really enjoys it! Lol!) I'll see if I can dig up a picture of them in ballet.
Liam is a YEAR old! Can you believe it?? I sure can't! I feel like I'm still pregnant with him! Of course, that could be due to my big pot belly and gas, which feels like a baby kicking.. bahaha. He got his first two teeth (bottoms) on his 9-month-birthday, and the top two followed quickly. Now he has a grand total of 8! Four each on the top and bottom. He took his first steps on October 10th, at Mom and Dad H's house, beating both of his sisters' previously set record by 2.5 months. He hasn't really walked since then, though. And wouldn't you know it, the instant I finished typing that sentence, he came toddling over to me from across the living room! Like, at least 15 steps! Oh wow! I wish I could have caught it on camera, awww.. be right back, I need to give him a big fat hug, lol. <3

My beautiful little ladies! <3

Here's Liam in the backyard, amidst a bunch of toys that Chloe threw out the door to entertain him. I can't get over his adorable little face!! My cute-baby creating abilities are highly advanced.

This is the quilt I finished today. I hope Jolene and her Caydi put it to good use! It makes me sad when people don't use the blankets I make for them.. even if they hate them, lol.. I told Jolene to at least take a pic of her baby using it once, before tossing it out. LOL. (Oh and you can't see it in the pic, but the butterfly squares are sparkly too. Aw!)
